About:
I am a Specialist Wellness Counsellor and academic researcher specialising in supporting overwhelmed moms to heal from past trauma and grow through the challenges of matrescence.
I am also a mother to a five-year-old boy and have experienced first hand the challenges and transformations of early motherhood.
Before becoming a mother I was a researcher at Stellenbosch University focussing on trauma, memory and transformation. While becoming a mother I retrained as a counsellor and shifted my research focus to supporting mothers through matrescence. I offer individual counselling for moms and motherhood growth journeys at my home based practice in Tokai
