Lauren Ellis
About:
My journey started when I graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2016 and then completed my Community Service at Groote Schuur Hospital in 2017.
Since then, I have not only worked, but gained valuable experience within the private practice whilst furthering my knowledge of OMT. In addition to this, I also volunteered at two Government clinics in the Western Cape.
After becoming a mama bear myself, I decided to change direction and focus on Women's Health and breastfeeding support. As a result of my own breastfeeding struggles, and needing some support and assistance, this is where Lauren Ellis Physiotherapist Practice was born.
Fast forward, I am now the Chair lady of the Pelvic and Womens Health Special Interest group for the South African Physiotherapy Society and I proudly work in the Urogynae Physio clinic at Groote Schuur, being mentored and constantly learning by only the very best. I have a passion for supporting women and have a drive to give every women the love, support and guidance within the early days of post-partum.
Each mama deserves that don’t you think?
I cannot wait to meet you and help you on your journey.
