Our professional directory connects women with qualified professionals who support pregnancy, postpartum and parenting, with a particular focus on maternal health and wellbeing. We'd love to hear from you if you share our commitment to providing compassionate, professional and evidence-informed care.

The Maternal Village SA directory is for health professionals who work with women and families during pregnancy, postpartum and the parenting journey.
This may include professionals such as:
Medical practitioners - GPs, OBGYNs, Paediatricians
Psychologists and mental-health professionals
Midwives
Physiotherapists
Occupational therapists
Dieticians and nutrition professionals
Lactation consultants
Other appropriately qualified professionals supporting maternal health
If you don't see your profession listed, you are still welcome to enquire.

Professionals must hold:
A relevant bachelor's degree or recognised professional qualification or
Another qualification that is formally recognised by the relevant South African professional/regulatory body
Appropriate professional registration where registration is required
Relevant experience in their stated area of practice

We're starting by building a community of professionals who share our commitment to supporting women and families with quality, evidence-informed care.
As the Maternal Village SA community grows, we may introduce paid or enhanced directory options and annual renewal fees. If this happens, professionals will be given appropriate notice before any fee applies to their existing listing.
